Our Event Management courses are designed for those who aspire to be an Event Manager, Experience Designer, Sponsorship Manager, Festival, Venue, or Community Engagement organiser.
Creating memorable events takes imagination, social awareness, technological innovation and meticulous organisation, so our Bachelor and Diploma degrees incorporate the entire spectrum of these skills.
We cover all facets of event management, from conceptualisation to execution, with a curriculum designed to nurture your imagination and social and organisational skills.

Scholarships are now available for international students and valid for all international study applications from March 2024. Kickstart your creative studies while we ease the financial load – eligible students can receive up to $11,000 AUD for a Bachelor or up to $3,600AUD for a Diploma.
Eligibility criteria:
Applicants must submit a 300-word statement along with their application explaining why they should be awarded the scholarship.
Approved applicants must comply with their visa conditions and obligations as Collarts students.
Applicants must meet Collarts entry requirements.
Scholarships are limited and awarded at the discretion of the Collarts International Team.
Valid for applications received in 2024.
Students must pay their fees on time to maintain eligibility.
Students must maintain a credit (65%) average or above in their Collarts studies to maintain eligibility.

Event Managers handle all things related to an event, overseeing the planning, coordination, and execution from start to finish. They are responsible for ensuring that every aspect of the event runs smoothly, from venue selection and logistics to coordinating vendors, entertainment, and attendees.

Although there are event units in Entertainment Management, the Entertainment Management course is more suitable for students who want to manage entertainment projects, talent and learn the core business principles for the entertainment industry.
Event Management is more suited to students who want to specialise in events, community gatherings and festivals across all creative industries (from music through to fashion and more).
Absolutely! Our course is designed to provide you with practical experience by working on real events in Melbourne. Through our industry connections and community partnerships, you will have the opportunity to engage directly with event management professionals and contribute to a variety of events.
Our curriculum is built on a foundation of both theory and practical application. You'll learn from experienced instructors and guest speakers within the industry, and gain practical skills through projects and real event management experiences.
