Entertainment Management is focused on the business, commercial and strategic side of the entertainment industry. It covers areas such as artist and talent management, marketing, touring, finance, contracts and intellectual property, supporting the long-term success of creative careers, brands and entertainment organisations.
Event Management concentrates on the planning and delivery of live experiences, including festivals, exhibitions, community events and cultural activations. This area places strong emphasis on logistics, operations, scheduling, risk management and creating engaging audience experiences.
While both disciplines operate within the creative industries, Entertainment Management and Event Management develop different skill sets that often work together, with one focused on long-term business strategy and the other on executing live experiences.
