Our double degrees are ideal for students wanting to combine their passion for Music Performance or Audio Engineering with a solid understanding of the business and management side through our Entertainment Management degree.

Students will undertake fundamental units in either Music Performance or Audio Engineering, while also focusing on the logistical side of the creative industries by undertaking fundamental units such as business strategy and law, marketing, economics, finance, publicity, music publishing, and event management.

Collarts offers students a variety of real-life industry experiences so that they are career-ready when they graduate. Through our industry partnerships, students have opportunities to partake in a variety of real-world business experiences, gaining access to industry connections.

Students will graduate with a well-rounded understanding of entertainment industries, both in Australia and overseas.

If you dream of a career as a Venue Manager, Audio Producer, Studio Manager, Stage Technician, Tour Manager, Event Manager, Festival Organiser or Artist Manager, this course is for you.

The Double Degree: Bachelor of Arts (Audio Engineering) & Bachelor of Applied Business (Entertainment Management) course is perfect for people who want to develop skills in audio production including live sound, recording, producing and post-production, whilst also learning about the recording, business, and management side of the music industry.

MUSIC PERFORMANCE DOUBLE DEGREE

DOUBLE DEGREE: BACHELOR OF ARTS (MUSIC) & BACHELOR OF APPLIED BUSINESS (ENTERTAINMENT MANAGEMENT)

 

If you dream of a career as a Songwriter, Recording Artist, Music Director, Artist Manager, Tour Manager, Event Manager, Festival Organiser, Booker or Venue Manager, this course is for you.

The Double Degree: Bachelor of Arts (Musice) & Bachelor of Applied Business (Entertainment Management) course is perfect for people who want to develop their ability in solo and collaborative music performance, music analysis, songwriting, technical musicianship, whilst also learning about the recording, business, and management side of the music industry.

→ Applicants will need to follow the admission and eligibility requirements requested of the Audio Engineering or Music Performance degrees, dependant on their Double Degree choice

Non-Year 12 applicants may apply directly on the website, and a Future Student Advisor will be in touch to arrange an interview

Year 12 applicants must apply through VTAC. VTAC opens in August each year. Place the appropriate Collarts course into one of your preferences and a Future Student Advisor will be in touch to arrange an interview
