During lockdown, photographers were pushed to adapt their trade remotely—including our very own Collarts student. Thanks to our industry network, students Jaimee Lee and Georgia McGregor had the opportunity to snap Holgate Brewhouse's new alcohol-free beer, landing them in Broadsheet, Time Out, and more.
As face-to-face Photography students have access to photographic equipment on campus, including various light kits and on-site studios, online Photography students will receive a Collarts loaned studio lighting kit, so they can continue to hone their skills at home. Check out the features of the kit's best features.
Thanks to the ever-evolving mobile devices in our pockets, smartphone photography has undoubtedly become an art form in its own right. With an increasing demand for high-quality content comes the need for premium editing apps, particularly those that can keep up with trending aesthetics and produce striking content on the go.
Rikki Bunder always loved taking photos; his passion for art and curiosity for powerful storytelling stretches long before he was at the helm of Collarts’ Photography course. Reflecting on his 20-year career, Rikki looks back at his beginnings and the moment when he decided to take the leap and chase his dreams.
