What is UAC?

The Universities Admissions Centre (UAC) processes applications for admission to most undergraduate courses at participating institutions (mainly located in NSW and the ACT).

NSW and ACT Year 12 students should apply through UAC to study at Collarts Sydney campus.
Those who have already completed high school can apply directly on our website.

Step-by-step guide

Register via UAC

You’ll first need to register and submit an application via the UAC website.

2026 to 2027 domestic undergraduate admissions open 8 April 2026 at 9.00AM (Sydney time).

Select your Course Preferences

Take a look at UAC's video guide for Year 12 students.

In the Course Preferences section of your UAC application, you can select up to five course preferences and rank them from 1 (most preferred) to 5 (least preferred).

Make Collarts your 1st Preference

Throughout the UAC application period, you can change your course preferences at any time before the preference deadline for each offer round.

To do this, log in to your UAC account, open your course preference list, and add, delete, or reorder your preferences. Preferences must be finalised by the published deadline before each offer round for your changes to be considered.

Get results - Your ATAR does not define you.

In December, your HSC results and ATAR are released. This is your final opportunity to update your preferences before the first ATAR-based offer round.

You can only receive one offer per offer round, so make sure your preference list reflects where you most want to study.

Getting your full offer and offer acceptance on the day

UAC typically releases the first major offer round in December after HSC results and ATARs are released. You’ll be able to log into your UAC account on the published offer date to see your offer. One of our Future Student Advisors will reach out later that day to congratulate you and walk you through the next steps.

On the same day you receive your official offer, you will be able to accept it and complete your acceptance form online. Just make sure you have your supporting documents on hand (USI and Tax File Number) to finalise your enrolment. The sooner you do it, the sooner you secure your spot!
