We’re thrilled to share that Collarts has been named one of the recipients of the latest government grant through the Study Melbourne Inclusion Program (SMIP)! This incredible initiative backs programs that support international students—and we’re proud to be part of it.
So, what’s in store? We’re launching a brand-new project designed to help international students feel more connected, supported and empowered while studying in Naarm/Melbourne.
The project will focus on building a sense of belonging through volunteering and social engagement. That means orientation and induction activities to help new students settle in, an eight-week buddy program to spark real friendships, a six-week community service initiative, and ongoing support and recognition to keep the momentum going.
It’s all about meaningful local connections and building skills that’ll serve our students for life—inside and outside the classroom.
We can’t wait to roll it out and see the impact it makes. More details coming soon, so stay tuned!
