Sydney Film School 

Sydney Film School is a private, industry-focused film and screen production school based at Waterloo Studios in Sydney. The school has provided practical, hands-on training in screen and media production, emphasising creative storytelling and real-world filmmaking experience since 2004.

Sydney Film School operates from purpose-built production facilities featuring studio spaces, editing suites and production offices, and shares these industry-standard resources with Sydney Actors School. This collaborative setting enables filmmaking and acting students to work together on productions, fostering professional networks and practical experience.

Sydney Actors School  

Sydney Actors School is a specialist acting and musical theatre training institution located at Waterloo Studios in Sydney. The school has a history of personalised and practical actor training with a focus on performance for both screen and stage.

Sydney Actors School traditionally has run vocational acting qualifications, including Diploma and Advanced Diploma courses that emphasise craft development, performance technique and industry preparation. 

Delivered in custom-built production environments, including sound stages, rehearsal spaces and studio facilities, has given students exposure to authentic performance settings from the outset.

Part of Collarts,  Sydney Film School is within the shared Waterloo Studios environment which enables acting students to build screen credits and production experience alongside filmmaking peers
