Emily has been working in the music industry for over 20 years, graduating from Beat columnist to record label publicist, and eventually director of her own PR-led marketing company Deathproof. For the past 15 years. Deathproof has proudly hand picked their client list, allowing them to work with incredible local ats like (King Stingray, The Chats, Northlane, Parkway Drive), massive brands (Victoria Bitter, NME Magazine, Melbourne Bitter) award winning festivals (Brunswick Music Festival, Melbourne Music Week, Leaps and Bounds, Riverboats) and live music venues (Northcote Theatre, The Old Bar, Northcote Social Club). Alongside this, Emily's been teaching PR, marketing and content at a tertiary level for over five years.
