Naomi Edwards

Naomi is an accomplished director of theatre and opera. Her recent credits include Australian Associate Director of Harry Potter and The Cursed Child, & Juliet (Michael Cassel Group) and Tina, the Tina Turner musical (TEG Dainty)

Naomi was Artistic Director of the internationally renowned children’s theatre company Patch Theatre Company 2015 – 2018, creating new works touring nationally and internationally. A graduate of VCA Directing, she has directed for Australia’s leading main stage theatre and opera companies, orchestras, and commercial producers. Directing credits include: The Waiting Room (Melbourne Theatre Company), How To Kill Your Husband, Noye’s Fludde (Victoria Opera), Peter and the Wolf with Miriam Margoyles (Adelaide Festival/Foxtel), Hamlet (STC Education), Actors at Work (Bell Shakespeare), Rabbit Hole (Red Stitch Theatre) and Cautionary Tales for Children (Arena Theatre). She served as Resident Director and directed Schools Company for Opera Australia and was resident director for several Sydney Theatre Company and Melbourne Theatre Company productions.
