Jo Leishman

Lecturer

Jo Leishman has been working the arts for many years, predominantly as a stage manager with stints in associate producing, front of house, company management, and occasionally, as a physical theatre performer.
Jo began her career in theatre and now her experience encompasses dance, music, events and festivals and many sites where there is no stage but lots to manage! 
Amongst that she has had the joy of touring works nationally and internationally.
She has worked with Back to Back Theatre Company, Lucy Guerin Inc, Gideon Obarzanek, Genevieve Lacey, Big hART, Rawcus, Windmill Theatre Co, Jodee Mundy Collaborations, BEAT Entertainment, Immediate Theatre (UK), Alexander Zeldin Company and many others; on festivals such as RISING, Dark Mofo, Midsumma, Mona Foma, White Night, St Kilda Festival, A Festival Called Panama and on events that include the Commonwealth Games, Royal Melbourne Show, Melbourne International Comedy Festival and New Years Eve in Melbourne and Taste of Summer in Hobart. 
Jo has worked as an associate producer at the Abbotsford Convent and is currently studying at RMIT.
