Garrett Skein is a fashion marketing and ecommerce specialist with a strong focus on brand management within the contemporary fashion industry. A Collarts alumnus, Garrett brings a combination of academic insight and hands-on industry experience to their teaching.
Garrett is the Co-founder and Brand Manager of JUSTIN TONG, a sustainable and ethical women’s occasionwear label, where they lead brand, marketing, ecommerce, and wholesale operations across both Australian and international markets. Their professional experience includes contributing to retail partnerships on behalf of vendors with organisations such as David Jones, Myer, The Iconic, Nordstrom, Bloomingdale’s, and Macy’s, with a focus on seasonal marketing and ecommerce strategy.
As a sessional lecturer at Collarts, Garrett teaches Fashion Ecommerce and User Experience, positioning themself as an active industry representative within the classroom. Their teaching approach reflects the expectations of the professional environment, with an emphasis on collaboration, professionalism, and approachability.
