Jade Ogden

Industry Partnerships and Experience Manager

Jade grew up in country Victoria and started out working on events through the Freeza Committee and Youth Council in Shepparton. She cut her teeth working at the local music venue, Yahoo Bar, assisting with band booking, working the door, and manning the merch desk.

In 2007, Jade moved to Melbourne and completed her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Music Business at RMIT in 2010. During her time at RMIT, she interned and volunteered at any opportunity possible, working heavily in band booking, publicity, festival work and artist management.

Since completing her degree, Jade has event managed over 300 weddings, parties and corporate events. She has assisted with booking gigs at venues including: the Evelyn, the Birmingham, the Curtin and the B.East and has worked extensively in publicity for festivals, touring artists and pop-up food and wine events. In 2011, she did a stint in London, working in logistics and operations for Secret Garden Party Festival as well as running social media integration for UK artists at Good Lizard Media. In 2014, Jade was the event manager for Big Hearted Business (founded by Clare Bowditch) and has worked on numerous national and international festivals in roles including stage managing, logistics and operations, merchandise management, artist liaison, and staff & volunteer coordinating.

Jade is extremely passionate about supporting the local, live and independent music scene in Melbourne. Her favourite venue is the Old Bar, her favourite community radio station is Triple R and her favourite festival is Boogie. She is a staunch Megahertz supporter when it comes to the only footy game she watches each year, Reclink’s Community Cup.
