HOW IT WORKS
An Education Partnership is designed to provide a framework for a constructive, cost-effective relationship between Ausmusic College and its Education Partners. The relationship carries responsibilities for the training of students and compliance with the AQTF Standards for Registered Training Organisations.
Ausmusic College responsibilities
- Maintain Ausmusic College as an AQTF compliant Registered Training Organisation;
- Maintain a records system for all assessment results and candidate records;
- Issue all Certificates and Statements of Attainment according to results received from Education Partners;
- Provide training and professional development for the partner school to ensure that all trainers and assessors are appropriately qualified;
- Maintain a register for continuous improvement;
- Work with Education Partners to develop and evaluate the assessment tools, information for assessors, and information and feedback for candidates to ensure that they meet audit and quality requirements;
- Establish a timetable for internal audit validation meetings with assessors from the partner organisation;
- Maintain a system for the interchange of information on candidate progress and results according to agreed timelines;
- Validate the assessment (including any RPL) undertaken by the assessors employed by the Education Partner;
- Treat confidentially all information obtained or provided as part of the Education Partnership and undertake not to divulge that information to any parties without prior written authority, except as required under the AQTF or other regulation or legislation.
Education Partner responsibilities
- Accurately enrol all students into CollartsOnline, the Ausmusic College online database;
- Abide by Ausmusic College policies and procedures;
- Induct all students into the nationally accredited qualification;
- Deliver and assess the Ausmusic College courses as per the registration details;
- Enter all student results into CollartsOnline by the conclusion of the academic year;
- Only use trainers and assessors that fulfil Ausmusic College’s Trainer policy;
- Conduct continuous improvement reviews;
- Complete professional development activities as is necessary to maintain qualified trainers and assessors;
- Upload assessment records to CollartsOnline;
- Provide resources and facilities to ensure that the qualification can be delivered and assessed in accordance with the qualification and unit of competency requirements specified in the Ausmusic College course;
- Treat confidentially all information obtained or provided as part of the Education Partnership and undertake not to divulge that information to any parties without prior written authority, except as required under the AQTF or other regulation or legislation.
