BA (Audio Production)
Get the best start to your career as an audio production professional by enrolling in the Collarts Audio Production degree course. Learn about recording, live production, broadcast, post-production and synchronisation during this course that combines both practical and theoretical applications.
Students are guided by highly qualified and experienced teachers using r industry-standard production facilities, tools and equipment. The degree course consists of a series of foundation, professional and elective subjects which can be completed in a minimum of two years (six semesters). This course is designed to develop your musical, technical and creative skills, and give you a unique understanding of the industry in which you will make your career.

The BA (Audio Production) is a six-semester course, offered over two years. Students undertake eight foundation subjects then choose 16 classes from professional studies and three electives. In total, students will complete 24 units over the six semesters of their course.

INDUSTRY PROJECTS
The Collarts approach features innovative, project-based learning. Through activities like our Industry Projects, audio production students will use their skills and knowledge to help create real industry events, working alongside student and professional musicians, event managers, promoters and other music industry specialists.
INDUSTRY PLACEMENT
Students benefit from participating in an Industry Placement during their studies. Collarts Career Partners – individuals, companies and organisations from the music industry – will help students gain real-world experience and develop industry connections while studying at Collarts.
Applicants for BA Audio Production will be invited to Collarts for an interview. During your interview, we will discuss your course choice and you will have the opportunity to ask any questions about the course or studying at Collarts.
